Training Opportunities + Partnership Potential
Hello to all of you faithful supporters!
Before we give an update, we wanted to say thank you so much to all of you; truly, without your support, we would not be able to get this off the ground. Whether that is sharing our story with your friends and family, praying for us, or giving financially — all of it is felt and appreciated.
UPDATES
First, a training opportunity …
As we journey into the process of getting Sacred Patterns into its first projects, we have been very blessed to be invited into a leadership cohort! It’s a remote mentorship program specifically aimed at new Nonprofits working to further God’s Kingdom, and we believe that it will greatly aid in helping us think through big questions and seek God’s wisdom as we grow into our roles. It will be running for 6-months starting in September, and we would welcome your prayers for us as we prepare for it.
Next, a Kickstarter update …
The fall Kickstarter is coming together with lots of meetings and planning happening these past few weeks. However, as we plan, we wanted to give you some basic info!
When: It will run for the month of October
What: An animated video series centered in the beginning chapters of Genesis
Who: For kids and their families!
Why: To help kids understand and be able to retell the patterns and themes that swirl and repeat within Scripture.
Keep looking for more updates as we build out more of it, and as always keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook pages for examples to like and share of what is to come!
Lastly …
The Lord is really cool (to say the least) and is bringing opportunities for future partnerships. The Kingdom is full of some very, very creative and talented people, and it is a privilege to be able to connect and work with some of them. Particularly in areas we feel we know other people are more gifted than ourselves! We are excited to see how these conversations work to bring the right people together with us for His Kingdom.
PRAYER
In all of this, we know nothing is built for Jesus’ Kingdom without considerable amounts of prayer. We would appreciate your prayer this month in a few specific areas.
That the Lord would bring wisdom into our conversation with future partners and teammates
That this Kickstarter would be executed with excellence and clear vision on our end
That this leadership cohort would stretch and grow us in healthy ways that both encourage us in our strengths and confront us in our weaknesses
